Common use of Call-in Allowance Clause in Contracts

Call-in Allowance. 16.01 An Employee who has completed his/her regular shift and leaves the premises and is then recalled to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the prevailing overtime rate or the prevailing overtime rate for hours actually worked whichever is the greater. If the hours worked directly precede the commencement of the regular shift the Employee shall be paid at the rate set out in Article 14.03 for the hours actually worked.
