Common use of Call-In Clause in Contracts

Call-In. Employees called to work prior to their regularly scheduled shift shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate until their regular shift begins provided that the employee shall receive a minimum payment equal to one (1) hour at straight time or the time worked at the appropriate overtime rate, whichever is greater. Employees shall work the balance of their regular shift at their regular rate of pay.

Call-In. Employees called to work prior to their regularly scheduled shift shall be paid at the 14 appropriate overtime rate until their regular shift begins provided that the 15 employee shall receive a minimum payment equal to one (1) hour at straight time 16 or the time worked at the appropriate overtime rate, whichever is greater. Employees shall work the balance of their regular shift at their regular rate of pay.

Employees shall 28 work the balance of their regular shift at their regular rate of pay.
