Common use of Call-In Clause in Contracts

Call-In. (a) Where an employee is called in to work prior to the commencement of their normally scheduled shift, hours worked prior to the scheduled shift shall be paid at their basic rate of pay or the overtime rate of pay, as applicable. (b) Employees who are called back to work outside of their normally scheduled working hours shall be paid their basic rate of pay or the overtime rate of pay, as applicable, for all hours worked or for four (4) hours, whichever is greater.

Call-In.
