Common use of Call Outs Clause in Contracts

Call Outs. An Employee called out for work after he has completed his regular shift and has gone home shall be given not less than two (2) hours' work, or if the work is not available, shall be paid for two (2) hours at the overtime rate. The Company may call men out to unload or to do such work as may be necessary to protect property during inclement weather. The Employee shall receive not less than two (2) hours' pay at the appropriate rate (ie. straight time or overtime) for each time called out.
