Common use of Catastrophic Illness Contributions Clause in Contracts

Catastrophic Illness Contributions. Employees may donate accrued annual leave, compensatory leave or holiday leave time to benefit another State employee suffering from a catastrophic illness. Leave shall be donated in no less than one (1) hour increments. The contributing employee must identify the specific amount of leave donated and the name of the recipient of the donated leave on forms provided by the Employer for this purpose. Leave donated to another State employee pursuant to this provision shall be credited to the recipient’s sick leave account.
