Catastrophic Leave Bank. The District shall establish a Catastrophic Leave Bank to which eligible unit members may donate earned and unused sick and/or vacation leave. Unit members who wish to donate may do so by completing the “Catastrophic Leave Donation Form” and returning it by the posted deadline. Donations are confidential, irrevocable, and cannot be rescinded for any reason whatsoever. A donation to the Catastrophic Leave Bank shall be a general donation and shall not be donated to a specific unit member for exclusive use. The maximum number of hours which may be accumulated in the Catastrophic Leave Bank is 1,280 hours (160 days).
