CATEGORISATION. 3.1 It is our policy to treat all of our clients as retail clients irrespective of the existence of any categorisations in the client’s country of residence.

CATEGORISATION. 3.1 Under MiFID II we are required to categorise our clients in order to determine the correct level of investor protection and transparency. It is our policy to treat all of our clients as retail clients in relation to the MiFID services that we provide unless retail clients upon request opt to be categorised as “professional clients”. Retail clients for whom we provide services in relation to Forex, CFDs, Options and Spread Betting will be afforded the highest level of protection available under MiFID.
CATEGORISATION. If you fall in this group, which KPN will determine on the basis of your job activities, your employment conditions will be those stated in this chapter.
CATEGORISATION. Based on the information available to Cantor, we have categorised you as a Retail Client and you will be treated as such in respect of all business we conduct with or for you unless we agree to a different categorisation. This categorisation affords you the highest available level of client protections on your account. You have a right, subject to meeting defined criteria, to request to be categorised as a Professional Client for a given product, service or transaction or in respect of all services which Xxxxxx provides to you. Any request should be made in writing. Any such request (if granted) will result in a lower level of client protection applying to your account or a specific transaction, for example, professional clients are not entitled to any compensation under the Investor Compensation Act (see paragraph 31 below) and Xxxxxx can make certain assumptions about professional clients when determining suitability and appropriateness that it cannot make for retail clients. Xxxxxx reserves the right to refuse any such request for a change of categorisation.

CATEGORISATION. 1. If KPN decides, on the basis of your work, that you fall into this group, your employment conditions are set out in this Chapter.
CATEGORISATION. In accordance with the regulations in effect, the Bank has a duty to classify its clients into one of the f ollowing categories: “Retail client”, “Business client” or “Eligible counterparty”. Natural persons acting for non-professional purposes are considered by the Bank to be “retail clients” within the meaning of the AMF General Regulation and therefore benef it from the most protective risk assessment and management measures. Depending on the category in which the Client is placed, a letter will be sent to inform the Client of his/her status as a retail client, business client or eligible counterparty as well as the consequences of this classific ation and the possibility of changing categories, with the understanding that the Bank is not obliged to grant the client’s request.

Should there be a change in your personal circumstance and you no longer deem yourself to be able to properly assess or manage the risks involved with your investments decisions as a Professional Client, you should request, in writing, the higher level of protection offered under the retail client category. Xxxxxx reserves the right to refuse any such request for a change of categorisation.

Are you placed in this group as at 31 October 2014 and do you have job code SSS11 (regional manager) on that date? If so, you will be placed in the General group as of 1 November 2014, from which time the specific employment conditions of Chapter 8 and (if relevant) the transitional arrangements under Article 9.13 will apply to you instead, therefore, of the other specific employment conditions under this Chapter.
CATEGORISATION. If you fall into this group, which KPN Contact will determine on the basis of your work, your employment conditions will be those stated in this Chapter. Are you placed within this group as at 31 October 2014? Then as of 1 November 2014 you will be placed in either the General or Customer Expert group on the basis of the nature of your work including the criteria set out in Appendix 20, from which date the specific employment conditions for the relevant group will apply to you. If you fall within the General group the transitional arrangements under Appendix 19 also apply to you.
