Change in Workweek. The provisions of Article 10, Part 2, Section D.12. shall also apply to Directors.
Change in Workweek. Schedule, or Shift. The City will make a good faith effort not to change an employee’s regular Shift Schedule once bid. Schedule changes pursuant to this section are subject to Schedule Disruption Pay.
Change in Workweek. (a) The Company will have the right to institute a four (4) day workweek at ten (10) hours per day with overtime after ten (10) hours during the period Monday through Thursday for the entire plant or any part thereof.
(b) The Company will have the right to institute a special shift for Friday, Saturday and Sunday consisting of new hires at the above new hire rates and at straight time pay and also consisting of current employees at existing contract rates including applicable premium pay. Seniority and any other applicable contract provisions will apply in the selection of such special shift employees.
Change in Workweek. Only employees employed after July 1, 1984 may have the normal twenty-four (24) hour duty cycle changed, depending on the Department's needs, from the average fifty-six (56) hour workweek on twenty-four (24) hour duty shifts to a forty (40) hour workweek on eight (8), ten (10), twelve (12) or fourteen (14) hour shifts or any combination thereof; provided, however, that when working a forty (40) hour workweek, said employee(s) will not be used to circumvent the sick leave replacement schedule. The Fire Chief will give reasonable notice when the duty cycle will change from one workweek to another.
