Leave Replacement a substitute for an employee who is on an approved, contractual leave of more than thirty (30) consecutive work days. A leave replacement employee shall receive full salary, retroactive to the first day of the position, and benefits beginning the thirtieth (30th) work day.
Leave Replacement. Faculty may be appointed to replace a tenured faculty member on approved leave for the duration of the leave under the terms described in section e below. (See also 5.
Leave Replacement. The Board shall endeavour to replace absent employees when the Principal determines it is necessary to do so.

Leave Replacement. A. A leave replacement employee is one who is hired to replace a regular employee who is on an approved leave of absence. The leave replacement employee shall receive the same benefits as a regular employee.
B. A leave replacement employee shall be placed into the substitute pool when the assignment ends, and shall be eligible to apply for vacant positions.
C. The provisional period required in Article VII, Section 6 will only be served once by leave replacement employees.
D. If the regular employee does not return from leave, the position becomes vacant at the end of the scheduled leave and is subject to Article XI, Section 1.A.
E. If a regular employee takes a leave replacement position, his/her position shall be filled with a leave replacement employee. At the end of the leave the regular employee shall return to his/her original position and the leave replacement employee shall be placed in the substitute pool and shall be eligible to apply for vacant positions.
Leave Replacement. During the health leave (10.2 C & D), where applicable, the Board shall assign a temporary replacement for the administrator. While on leave, an administrator will maintain full seniority status, or its equivalent, and all applicable employment rights held before the leave was taken.
