Chapel Chairperson. 40.01 The name of the Chapel Chairperson shall be supplied by the Union to the Company, who shall be advised forthwith of any change. The number of Chapel Chairpersons shall be no more than three (3) in each Chapel.

Chapel Chairperson. 35.01 The names of the Chapel Chairpersons shall be supplied by the Union to the Employer, who shall be advised forthwith of any change. The Company recognizes four (4) Chapel Chairpersons plus two (2) Assistant Chapel Chairpersons. It is understood that the Union will designate two (2) of the above to serve as representatives on the Joint Labour Management Committee. The Employer shall recognize the Chapel Chairpersons as the Union's representative in his plant and through them shall attempt to resolve any differences concerning this Collective Agreement. They shall not be discriminated against in the performance of their duties. Should the Chapel Chairpersons [maximum of two (2) at any one time] desire to confer with a full- time Union Officer regarding the matter under discussion or fulfill the duties mentioned herein, they shall be permitted to do so with the consent of Management, the Supervisor and/or Human Resources Manager or Director of Manufacturing which shall not be unreasonably withheld. It is further agreed that the Chapel Chairpersons designated by the Union [maximum of two (2) at any one time] shall be entitled to leave their work to carry out their functions under the Agreement including the investigation of grievances and participation in negotiations. All time spent performing such duties as mentioned above shall be considered to be time worked providing the employee was scheduled to work.

It is understood that the Union will designate two (2) of the above to serve as representatives of the Joint Labour/Management Committee. The Company shall recognize the Chapel Chairpersons as the Union’s representative and through them shall attempt to resolve any difference concerning this Collective Agreement. They shall not be discriminated against in the performance of their duties. Should the Chapel Chairperson (maximum of two (2) at any one time) desire to confer with a full-time Union officer regarding the matter under discussion or fulfill the duties mentioned herein, they shall be permitted to do so with the consent of Management, the Supervisor and/or Human Resources Manager or Plant General Manager which shall not be unreasonably withheld.   • Chairperson The Chairperson will supervise and control the affairs of the Committee and shall exercise such supervisory powers as may be given him/her by the Members of the Committee. The Chairperson will perform all duties incident to such office and such other duties as may be provided in these bylaws or as may be prescribed from time to time by the Committee. The Chairperson shall preside at all meetings and shall exercise parliamentary control in accordance with Xxxxxx’s Rules of Order.

  • Vice Chairperson The Vice Chairperson shall act in place of the Chairperson in the event of the Chairperson’s absence, inability, or refusal to act, and shall exercise and discharge such other duties as may be required by the Committee. The Vice Chairperson shall serve as the parliamentarian and interpret any ambiguities of the bylaws.

  • Chair The Chair of the Union/Management Committee shall alternate between an Employer representative and a representative of the Union.

  • Department Chairperson The department Chairperson has the dual responsibility of leading the department in fulfilling its responsibilities in academic and personnel areas and of facilitating the functioning of the department. The department Chairperson is the normal channel of communications between the department and other departments, division/areas or like groupings, offices and the administration.

  • Chairman An individual (who need not be a Registered Warrantholder) designated in writing by the Warrant Agent shall be chairman of the meeting and if no individual is so designated, or if the individual so designated is not present within fifteen minutes from the time fixed for the holding of the meeting, the Registered Warrantholders present in person or by proxy shall choose an individual present to be chairman.

  • Vice Chair The Vice Chair shall perform such duties as prescribed by the Board or the Chair and shall act for the Chair in his or her absence.

  • Department Chairpersons The principal shall designate a high school librarian to serve as department chairperson, and such chairperson shall attend all school department chairperson meetings.

  • President Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall preside at all meetings of the shareholders and of the Trustees. Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall be the chief executive officer.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.
