Chapter Release. CSEA shall have the right of a total of forty (40) hours of paid release 4 time each school year for CSEA business related to District unit members; provided, 5 however, such paid release time is not used in furtherance of or in connection with a work 6 stoppage or other refusal to work. Release time for negotiations, mediation, problem 7 solving meetings with Human Resources, Reclassification Committee meetings, District 8 Safety Committee meetings, joint ad hoc meetings, disciplinary meetings (including 9 meetings which members feel may lead to discipline), and attendance at grievance 10 hearings shall not be charged against said forty (40) hours. Whenever possible, the 11 Association President shall provide written notification to the Human Resources Office 12 of release time at least two (2) days in advance. The notice shall include date, name(s) of 13 the person(s) to be absent, and anticipated duration of release time.

  • Plaintiff’s Release Plaintiff and his or her respective former and present spouses, representatives, agents, attorneys, heirs, administrators, successors, and assigns generally, release and discharge Released Parties from all claims, transactions, or occurrences that occurred during the Class Period, including, but not limited to: (a) all claims that were, or reasonably could have been, alleged, based on the facts contained, in the Operative Complaint and (b) all PAGA claims that were, or reasonably could have been, alleged based on facts contained in the Operative Complaint, Plaintiff’s PAGA Notice, or ascertained during the Action and released under 6.2, below. (“Plaintiff’s Release.”) Plaintiff’s Release does not extend to any claims or actions to enforce this Agreement, or to any claims for vested benefits, unemployment benefits, disability benefits, social security benefits, workers’ compensation benefits that arose at any time, or based on occurrences outside the Class Period. Plaintiff acknowledges that Plaintiff may discover facts or law different from, or in addition to, the facts or law that Plaintiff now knows or believes to be true but agrees, nonetheless, that Plaintiff’s Release shall be and remain effective in all respects, notwithstanding such different or additional facts or Plaintiff’s discovery of them.

  • Escrow Agent Not Responsible after Release The Escrow Agent will have no responsibility for escrow securities that it has released to a Securityholder or at a Securityholder’s direction according to this Agreement.

This release shall not affect any accrued rights Employee may have under any medical insurance, workers compensation or retirement plan because of Employee's prior employment with Company.   • Customer Information and Release Authorization Throughout this Agreement, you authorize Clearview Energy or its agents to obtain and review information from credit-reporting agencies regarding your credit history and information from the Utility relating to you and your account that includes, but is not limited to: account name and number; billing history; payment history; rate classification; historical and future electricity usage; meter readings; and characteristics of electricity service. Clearview Energy will not provide or sell such information to any other party without your consent unless required to do so by law, or it is necessary to enforce the terms of this Agreement. Clearview Energy reserves the right to reject your enrollment, or terminate this Agreement, in the event you rescind these authorizations.

  • Paid Release Time Employees will be provided a reasonable amount of time during their normal working hours to meet with the union xxxxxxx and/or staff representative to process a grievance. I understand that this release will be deemed to be an application for benefits under the Agreement and that my entitlement thereto shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the Agreement and any applicable plan.
