Common use of Charge Differential Clause in Contracts

Charge Differential. 14.1.1 For hours of work that a non-exempt RN has been designated to perform as a relief charge nurse, the RN will be paid a premium of $ 3.00 for those hours. 14.1.2 Charge differential will be paid only for hours worked as a designated relief charge nurse. 14.1.3 Employees assigned to the Designated Charge Nurse classification will be paid a premium of $4.00 per hour for all paid hours, including PTO time and time worked at the bedside.
