Common use of Christmas Leave Clause in Contracts

Christmas Leave. 42.01 The Parties agree that each Employee will have three (3) days leave each calendar year. The Employer will set the days to cause the office to be closed between Christmas and New Year’s. 42.02 Should the Employer decide to open completely or partially during these three (3) days, the Parties shall meet and discuss the consequences of opening. The Parties acknowledge that they have assigned a value of 1.2% of salary to these three (3) days.
