NO EXCEPTIONS. • Licensee shall not serve alcohol to minors on the premises at any time • Licensee agrees, for everyone’s safety, to ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner. • The Unique Space reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in its judgment is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use permit, or insurability of The Unique Space or the safety of its staff, guests, or building contents. • The Unique Space Event/Venue Specialist retains the right to enforce all rules and regulations on public safety, egress, and any other emergency preventive measures, at any time during any event and set up. Client and vendors must comply with such rules and regulations. Stairways, elevators, fire lanes, fire exits, emergency exits, and hallways and entrances must be kept clear, unlocked and unobstructed at all times. Smoking: • Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. NO SMOKING IN THE UNIQUE SPACE BUILDING or within 6 feet of the building. Alcohol: • Vendors are never permitted to consume alcohol before or while performing services at The Unique Space, including during load out. • A beverage license must be provided if you are serving alcohol.

City, County, State and Federal Laws. Renter represents and warrants to Jovial that it currently holds and shall continuously maintain all licenses, registrations, and will otherwise comply with all food service and other applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations of any authority having jurisdiction over any aspect of Renter’s business, and that it shall not commit any illegal act. The Co-op has no obligation to maintain any licenses or registrations related to Renter’s business, and shall in no event be liable for any expiration, termination, failure to renew or any other problems related to Renter’s legal requirements for the conduct of Renter’s business.

In such cases, NO REFUND of the event costs shall be made.

  • State and Federal Laws This Agreement shall be subject to all present and future applicable federal and state laws, executive orders of the President of the United States or the Governor of the State of Washington, and rules and regulations of governmental authority. Should any provision or provisions become unlawful by virtue of the above or by declaration of any court of competent jurisdiction, such action shall not invalidate the entire Agreement. Any provisions of this Agreement not declared invalid shall remain in full force and effect for the term of the Agreement. If any provision is held invalid, the Employer and Union shall enter into immediate negotiations for the purpose, and solely for the purpose, of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such provision.
