CLASSIFICATIONS AND WAGES. 27.1 The attached Schedule "A" 31.01 Classification and Schedule "B" covering job classifications and wage rates wages shall be as set out in Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of this Agreement. The employer agrees to increase the annual job rate for pre-November 1, 2005 employees as follows: November 1, 2012 $0.30 November 1, 2013 $0.35 November 1, 2014 $0.35 November 1, 2015 $0.40 November 1, 2016 $0.40 November 1, 2017 $0.45 For employees with start dates after November 1, 2006 the seniority based wage system per job classification applies per “Schedule A” The following provisions shall also apply:
(a) Lead Hand to receive $1.00 per hour above the top rate in their classification. Department lead hand job descriptions (general) are for fabrication, welding, paint shop, assembly and shipping departments. Lead Hands are appointed by management and appointment and removal from Lead Hand positions are not subject to the provisions of this agreement. Among their duties and responsibilities, Lead Hands distribute work orders within the department and ensure the following;
1) work is completed to schedule;
2) paperwork is accurately completed;
3) assist in taking attendance
4) assist in ensuring the quality of work is within the company guide-lines;
5) troubleshoot machinery and die problems;
6) completed parts moved to next department;
7) department employees are kept busy at all times;
8) assist in ensuring good housekeeping practice and orderly storage of tools;
9) maximize safety and related actions from the Safety Walk report.
27.2 All wages 31.02 For the afternoon and night shift, if applicable, there shall be a shift premium in effect of 60¢ per hour (afternoon shift) and 80¢ per hour (night shift).
31.03 Travel time to and from work sites outside the Company’s premises will be paid by 12:00 noon on each Thursdayfor at the employee’s regular wage rate, except where a Recognized Holiday occurs during or at the week, in which case special arrangements will be madeovertime rate if applicable.
27.3 Position descriptions per Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" 31.04 If an employee is promoted or for non-Operator positions temporarily transferred to a higher rated classification, then s/he shall comply with Pay Equity definitions and be made available upon request. Employees placed at a level on the wage schedule that provides the same or next higher wage rate.
31.05 Student employees, not including co-operative, may be required to perform other related duties as assignedemployed only from May 1st until the Friday immediately before the Labour Day weekend. Student employees shall be paid minimum wage in the first year they work; minimum wage plus 50¢ in the second year they work; minimum wage plus $1.00 in the third year they work.

(a) Skilled Trades: promotion from one Skilled Trade Level to the next higher Level is strictly by promotion in accordance with Articles 14.01 and classifications 12.03. Operator:

CLASSIFICATIONS AND WAGES.
27. Classifications
27.1 The attached Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" covering job classifications and wage rates shall be part of under this AgreementAgreement are set out in Appendix 1.
27.2 All wages Progression between classification levels will be at the discretion of management and dependent on:
(a) a requirement for skills to be applied to the vacant position; and
(b) successful completion of all certification requirements of the vacant position; and
(c) ongoing satisfactory performance in the current position; and
(d) competency to perform the skill requirements of the vacant position.
27.3 Payment at a particular classification level will only occur on appointment following the completion of all of the promotional criteria.
27.4 Team Members will not continue to advance in the structure until they have attained all the required skills, or applicable qualifications for their current classification level, have acquired the skills for the next level and been appointed by management to that next level.
27.5 Where Team Members are required to perform new duties resulting from the introduction of a new classification structure, appropriate training will be provided to those Team Members.
27.6 The classification structure in Appendix 1 will operate whilst this Agreement is in operation.
27.7 It is agreed that Team Members’ classification levels are to be reviewed as a minimum on an annual basis, with the manufacturing and logistics leadership group. Classification levels can be reviewed if Team Members refuse to perform duties associated with their current level.
28. Annualised Salary and Casual Loaded Rate
28.1 Full-time and part-time Team Members are paid an Annualised Salary which is inclusive of:
(a) working up to 40 hours per week (full-time Team Members);
(b) all shift penalties excluding Sunday. For Sunday work commencing after midnight on a Saturday, hours will be paid by 12:00 noon on each Thursday, except where at double time with a Recognized Holiday occurs during minimum of 4 hours’ pay;
(c) all annual leave loading; and
(d) all allowances including forklift and meal allowances with the week, in which case special arrangements will be madeexception of first aid allowance to designated first aid staff.
