Classified Research Projects. If a release of Confidential Information is for a classified Research Project, the provisions of the DoD Security Agreement (DD Form 441) and the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) apply.
Classified Research Projects. If a desired publication includes information relating to a Classified project, the provisions of the DoD Security Agreement (DD Form 441), Certificate Pertaining to Foreign Interests (SF 328), and the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) apply.
Classified Research Projects. If a release of information is for a classified Research Project Award, the provisions of the DoD Security Agreement (DD Form 441) and the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) apply (or forms appropriate to other Government agencies). Clearance of Technical Information for Public Release. Disclosure of unclassified Research Projects shall be in accordance with the applicable Distribution Statement. Approval of the Agreements Officer is not required prior to the release of information received in the performance of a Research Project Award or developed pursuant to a Subaward if the a Research Project Award or Subaward is awarded to a college, university or laboratory and the research work is performed on campus, except that such approval shall be obtained prior to the release of information where there is a high likelihood of disclosing performance characteristics of military systems or information concerning manufacturing technologies unique and critical to defense. Parties to this Agreement are responsible for assuring that an acknowledgment of Government support will appear in any publication of any material based on or developed under this Agreement, a Research Project Award, or a Subaward, in the following terms: “Effort sponsored by the Government under Other Transactions Number W81XWH-15-9-0001; The U.S. Government is authorized to reproduce and distribute reprints for Governmental purposes notwithstanding any copyright notation thereon.” Parties to this Agreement, a Research Project Award or a Subaward, are responsible for assuring that every publication of material based on or developed contains the following disclaimer: “The views and conclusions contained herein are those of the authors and should not be interpreted as necessarily representing the official policies or endorsements, either expressed or implied, of the U.S. Government."

The Government will be responsible for the completion of the DD Form 254. The COMPANY member must complete the DD Form 441 and SF 328 and provide them to the Government through for review by the proper Government representatives, the Industrial Security Representative at the cognizant Defense Security Service (DSS) office for DD Form 441 and SF 328 and the local government security office for the DD Form 254.

These forms can be obtained through the CAO. The Government will be responsible for the completion of the DD Form 254. The NAMC member must complete the DD Form 441 and SF 328 and provide them to the Government through the CAO for review by the proper Government representatives, the Industrial Security Representative at the cognizant Defense Security Service (DSS) office for DD Form 441 and SF 328 and ACC-NJ’s local Security office for the DD Form 254.
