CENTRAL GRIEVANCE PROCESS The following process pertains exclusively to grievances on central matters that have been referred to the central process. In accordance with the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act central matters may also be grieved locally, in which case local grievance processes will apply.
STEP II 18.3.2.1 If the employee desires to appeal the grievance to Step II, the grievance shall be reduced to writing and presented to the Department Director or his/her designated representative, within five (5) working days following the receipt of the immediate supervisor's oral reply.
CENTRAL GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 15.1 Effective until April 30, 2019, this procedure applies to differences:
Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.
Group, Unit or Team Leader Whenever an employee is assigned additional responsibility to direct, supervise or oversee work of employees within her or his classification, and/or be assigned overall responsibility for patient care on the unit, xxxx, or area, for a tour of duty, the employee shall be paid a premium of seventy cents (70¢) per hour in addition to her or his regular salary and applicable premium allowance.
Group RRSP 24:01 The University agrees to provide a Group RRSP (GRRSP) with the following features:
Group Grievances No more than five (5) grievants will be permitted to attend grievance meetings.
Step III 12.5.1 If the employee desires to appeal the grievance to Step III, the employee shall complete the appropriate appeal section of the grievance form, sign the appeal, and present the grievance to the Municipal Employee Relations Officer or designee within five (5) working days following receipt of the written decision at Step II.
General Grievances Controversies may arise of a nature so general as to directly affect the majority of employees in a classification or department, or the majority of all employees. It is agreed that issues of this nature need not be subjected to the entire grievance procedure but may be initiated at Step 2. Attendance at Grievance Hearings initiated at Step 2 may include members of both negotiating committees.
Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.
