Code of Conduct and Ethics. I agree to diligently adhere to all policies of the Company including, but not limited to, its Code of Conduct and Ethics, all of which may be revised from time to time during my employment.
Code of Conduct and Ethics. 1.15.1 Contractor shall maintain written standards of conduct governing the performance of its employees engaged in the award and administration of contracts. No employee, officer, or agent shall participate in the selection, award, or administration of a contract supported by federal funds if a real or apparent conflict of interest would be involved. Such a conflict would arise when the employee, officer, or agent, any member of his or her immediate family, his or her partner, or an organization which employs or is about to employ any of the parties indicated herein, has a financial or other interest in the firm selected for an award. The officers, employees, and agents of the Contractor shall neither solicit nor accept gratuities, favors, or anything of monetary value from Contractors, or parties to sub- agreements. However, Contractor may set standards for situations in which the financial interest is not substantial, or the gift is an unsolicited item of nominal value. The standards of conduct shall provide for disciplinary actions to be applied for violations of such standards by officers, employees, or agents of the Contractor. 1.15.2 Contractor shall adhere to CSTB’s Code of Conduct and Ethics and Transparency policy and require all staff to sign CSTB’s Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics and Transparency upon initial hire.
Code of Conduct and Ethics. (a) The Board and Liaison and Oversight Committee shall adopt a written Code of Conduct and Ethics for directors, officers and employees. (b) The Board and Liaison and Oversight Committee shall make a copy of the Code available to any interested parties. Code of Conduct and Ethics a. The employee shall at all times during the continuance of this Agreement use his best endeavors to promote the interest and welfare of the employer. b. The employee shall respect all the Bhutanese spiritual, spiritual, traditional and cultural values and practices and conform to the University Code of Conduct and Ethics. Accordingly, the employee shall conduct himself at all times in such a manner that: i. He does not pose any danger to the socio-economic and political stability of the country; ii. He does not involve in proselytization or undermine the traditional, cultural or religious values of the society; iii. He does not bring any undesirable influence and harmful practices which may have a damaging effect on the society, such as the use and abuse of narcotics; iv. He does not engage in politicizing the people or flaring up communal ill feeling among the Bhutanese people; v. His dress, behavior and habits are congenial to decorum of the Bhutanese society; vi. He does not engage in anti-government/national propaganda and criticism of the system of Government and its policies through speech or in writing while in Bhutan or after his repatriation; vii. He shall refrain from visiting places/institutions restricted for entry by foreigners without a specific written permit; viii. He is prohibited from engaging in employment other than permitted by this agreement and shall not participate in paid activities; and ix. He avoids personal relationships with firms selling office or other equipment and avoids the acceptance of favors or gifts, or being placed otherwise under obligation to any commercial representative or to any University’s client or customer.
Code of Conduct and Ethics. Notwithstanding any termination of this Agreement, the Employee acknowledges that the Braintech Inc. Code of Business Conduct and Ethics for Directors, Officers and Employees shall continue to apply to the Employee with full force and effect without interruption.
