COLD WEATHER AND RAIN GEAR. Employees who are furnished uniforms shall be provided jackets, if requested, if a substantial amount of their duties are performed outdoors. The employees provided said jackets shall be required to wear the jackets at any time employees choose to wear any garment over their uniforms. If the jackets are lost, the employees will be required at their cost to replace the jackets. The jackets will be replaced at the discretion of management when necessary due to wear and tear. Management will have the authority to determine what type of jacket is selected.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.
