Collaboration with FP6 IST Grid Projects Sample Clauses

Collaboration with FP6 IST Grid Projects. As a project under the Strategic Objective “Grid-based systems for solving complex problems”, GridCoord contains a horizontal activity for the “Collaboration with IST Grid-related projects”. Because of the horizontal nature of GridCoord, this link is quite natural. An independent Workpackage is not foreseen in GridCoord, since the Tasks for the “Collaboration with IST Grid-related projects” can be strictly related to the activities of some Tasks of the GridCoord WPs. The following table reports the correspondence between Tasks of the “Collaboration with IST Grid-related projects” with the GridCoord Tasks. For each Task, the IST projects with which GridCoord will closely collaborate are indicated. Tasks of “Collaboration with IST Grid-related projects” WP GridCoord Tasks Cooperation with IST projects Task 1 Exploitation of synergies/technical coordination Task 3.2: Common interests and synergies Task 4.2: Specific workshops & activities for Grid researchers SIMDAT CoreGrid Task 2 Joint fora for exchange and dissemination Task 4.1: General and strategic workshops Task 4.3: Knowledge transfer and education AKOGRIMO SIMDAT Task 3 Coordination of standardisation efforts Task 4.4: Standardisation strategy NextGrid AKOGRIMO Task 4 Repository of reference implementations and Grid middleware 3.1.2: Survey of Universities & Research Labs NextGrid CoreGrid AKOGRIMO
