Collection Items. We may accept certain items on a collection basis only. We route and process collection items separately from your other deposits. We will only credit your account for collection items only after we receive payment for them. We may also receive items from other financial institutions on a collection only basis. Upon presentment of a collection item we will follow the presenting institution’s instructions and pay the item if funds are available in your account or otherwise pursuant to your agreements with us. We charge fees for processing collection items (sending and receiving) as set forth in the Schedule. The financial institution on which the collection item is drawn may also charge you fees. If the other financial institution requires payment of a fee before that institution will process the collection item, we may pay the fee and charge your account. Fees may apply even if the collection item is returned unpaid.

Collection Items. We need not accept for deposit items drawn on a non-U.S. bank or items payable in a foreign currency and may instead accept such items on a collection basis, even after we have taken physical possession of such items. If accepted on a collection basis, we will not be obligated to credit your account for such items until we have received final payment. The actual credit for items payable in a foreign currency will be at the exchange rate in effect at the time of final collection in U.S. dollars. Regardless of whether such items are accepted for deposit or on a collection basis, our Funds Availability Policy will not apply. In receiving checks or other items for deposit or collection, we act only as your collecting agent and assume no responsibility beyond the exercise of ordinary care. We are not responsible for errors and delays made by others in the collection process. We are not responsible if the check is lost or delayed in the collection process. We charge fees for processing collection items.
Collection Items. 14.1 RHB Bank shall use its best endeavours to collect on behalf of the Merchant the amount due on any Charges which have not complied with the conditions and procedures stated in this Agreement but RHB Bank shall be entitled to impose a collection fee for each Charges successfully collected. The collection fee shall vary according to the transaction amount recorded on the Charges or EDC Slip or the Sales Draft or the Mail Order or Telephone Order form or the Merchant Report. RHB Bank shall not be obliged to pay the Merchant the amount of any Charges whether the Charges or EDC Slip or Sales Draft, Mail Order or Telephone Order forms or the Merchant Report and/or all the other relevant documents including but is not limited to the Credit Voucher presented on collection basis unless and until the said amount has been received by RHB Bank. The Merchant hereby agrees that RHB Bank shall be entitled to deduct the Merchant Discount and the collection fee from such sums received by RHB Bank before remitting the

Collection Items. 2.1 Collection Items shall refer to invoices, checks, receipts, reports, and other documents agreed upon by the Parties under this Agreement. 2.2 CLIENT agrees that METROBANK will not accept the following checks for the Service: a) Foreign currency check b) Postal Money Order c) Stale-dated check d) Lost check with caution notice e) Checks bearing uncancelled other bank’s endorsement f) Second endorsed checks g) Gift Checks h) Payable to “Cash” i) Pay to “Cash” or “Bearer” checks j) Checks with defects 2.3 The CLIENT undertakes to inform its Customers of the relevant terms of this Agreement, including the unacceptable checks specified above.

CNB may refuse to accept for deposit or collection a check, draft, or other item that is payable in a currency other than U.S. dollars or that is drawn on a bank or a branch of a bank located outside of the United States (”foreign instrument”). If the Bank accepts a foreign instrument for deposit or collection, you bear all of the risks associated with the collection process and foreign currency fluctuation (exchange rate risk). Actual credit for deposits of, or payable in, foreign currency will be at the Bank’s exchange rate then in effect on final collection in U.S. dollars. A foreign instrument may be returned unpaid much later than instruments that are drawn on banks located in the United States, sometimes several months after the Bank processes the foreign instrument. You bear all the risks of a late return. Generally, the Bank will not credit a foreign instrument to your account until the Bank receives the proceeds in cleared funds from the paying bank. If the Bank does provide credit, such credit is provisional and the Bank may reverse the credit at any time if the foreign instrument is returned unpaid or is initially paid but then subsequently returned for fraud. Collection Items. The Bank shall to the best of its ability endeavour to collect on behalf of the Merchant/Sub-Merchant the amount due on any Sales Slip which was generated but not in compliance with the conditions and procedures stated in this Agreement. The Bank may levy a fee for each Sales Slip successfully collected. The collection fee shall vary according to the Transaction amount of the Sales Slip but it shall not in any event exceed the collection fee payable by the Bank to the Card Issuer. The Bank shall not be obliged to pay the Merchant/Sub-Merchant the amount of any Sales Slip presented on collection basis in the event that the said amount has been collected by the Card Issuer and remitted to the Bank. The Bank shall be entitled to deduct the sum derived based on MDR as per Clause 16 below and the collection fee payable by the Merchant/Sub-Merchant to the Bank before remitting the balance sum to the Merchant/Sub-Merchant.
