Deposits to Your Account. You authorize us to endorse for deposit in your name any item or items received for deposit in your Account absent any such endorsement. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to accept deposits or specific items for deposit to your Account. If an amount is deposited to your Account in error by us, we may withdraw such amount from your Account. You acknowledge and agree that you do not acquire any rights to any funds deposited in your Account in error by virtue of the fact that such deposit has been made, regardless of the length of time the funds remain in the Account.

Deposits to Your Account. Funds may be deposited into your account by any means we permit, which may include, for example, checks, ATMs, in person, by mail, by telephone, automatic transfer, internet, or mobile devices as applicable and in accordance with the terms of the Disclosures. We are not responsible for any deposit which we do not receive, and our records will be the sole conclusive proof of receipt or non-receipt of a deposit. Deposits made by mail, at night depositories, or at unstaffed facilities (including ATMs) are not our responsibility until we receive such deposit. We reserve the right to refuse any deposit.

If you voluntarily give information about your account (such as our routing number and your account number) to someone and authorize them to draw against your account, we may charge your account and pay any items, including remotely created checks initiated by the person to whom you gave the information. You also agree that we may pay an electronically created item even though the item was not created from an original paper check, whether presented in the form of a remotely created check or an electronic item. You authorize us to continue to honor items or debits from a payee previously authorized by you, until you instruct us to cease to do so, whether or not the payee is acting within the scope of your initial authorization, subject only to such liability as may be imposed upon us by law. If you want us to stop honoring items from a payee previously authorized by you, you must tell us in writing. Until you notify us that such items are not authorized, we can continue to pay them and will not be liable to you even though the items are not in accordance with any authorization you may have given. This does not, however, obligate us to honor remotely created checks or similar items or entries. We may refuse to honor remotely created checks or similar items or entries without cause or prior notice, whether or not we have honored or dishonored similar items or entries previously. You agree that we are under no obligation to verify whether the name and account number shown on the remotely created checks are accurate. If any information on a remotely created checks is incomplete, inaccurate, or in error, you agree that we may, at our sole discretion, either pay the remotely created checks and charge your account for the item as drawn or refuse to honor the remotely created checks and, without prior notice to you, return the item unpaid. You further agree to indemnify and hold the Credit Union harmless for losses resulting from our honoring or dishonoring any such debit

Deposits made by mail, at night depositories or at unstaffed facilities are not our responsibility until we receive them. We reserve the right to refuse or to return any deposit. The availability of funds in your account may be delayed as described in our Funds Availability Policy Disclosure.
Deposits to Your Account. You acknowledge and understand that your transmission of a digitally imaged check for deposit to your credit union account does not constitute a deposit until the check image has been reviewed for acceptability. You also acknowledge and understand that in the event you receive notification of acceptability such notification does not mean that the check image is error free. Exception Items. When your imaged checks are reviewed for processing, the Credit Union may reject any imaged checks that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be ineligible for processing ("exception check") including, without limitation, electronic images of checks drawn on banks located outside the United States, checks drawn on U.S. Banks in foreign currency, electronic images that are illegible (due to poor image quality or otherwise), electronic images of checks previously processed, electronic images previously converted to substitute checks, and electronic images with unreadable MICR information. The Credit Union is not obligated to but may in its sole discretion notify you of any exception checks. You agree that if you attempt to deposit an exception check to any of your accounts with the Credit Union, you shall only do so by depositing the original check on which the exception check is based using a branch location, U.S. Mail, or other contractually acceptable method.

Deposits to Your Account. You may make deposits in any amount to your Account during normal business hours at any LAFCU branch or by mail. If the service is available, you may also make deposits by automatic transfers from other accounts or by telephone transfer. You may also use our night depository by agreeing to and signing the appropriate contract for such services. a. Endorsements The law allows and you specifically agree that we may supply any missing endorsement to a deposited check, draft, or any other instrument. However, we reserve the right to refuse to accept for deposit any item which does not bear a proper endorsement, which is payable to someone other than you or, in our sole discretion, under any other circumstances. Federal law specifies locations on checks for your and our respective endorsements. If our endorsement is illegible because you have endorsed a check in the wrong location, you will be liable for any resulting losses.
Deposits to Your Account. You may deposit funds to your Account at any time after verification of your identity by using any of the Deposit Mechanisms: Direct deposit: You may set up direct deposits to your Account by providing the payment provider –such as your employer, the U.S. Department of Treasury, or any third-party payer— with the bank routing and your Account number that appear in your Account Center under Load > Bank Transfer. We will only process or accept direct deposits if you, the Cardholder, are named as the payee of the direct deposit. If your Account number changes you must immediately notify your employer or any other payors and provide them with the new Account number to ensure that your direct deposit activity continues uninterrupted. Bank transfer: You may perform a transfer of funds to your Account from any other financial institution that provides the Automated Clearing House System (ACH). To do so you will need to provide the Issuer’s bank routing number and your Account number, all of which appear in your Account Center under Load > Bank Transfer. Debit or credit card deposit: You may use a debit or credit card to deposit funds into the Account. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your payment instructions (including the payment card information and expiration date) is current and accurate at all times. You can update this information within the Account Xxxxxx.Xx the extent we are required to reverse any deposit previously authorized by you because the amount deposited cannot be processed or is later charged back or reversed by the issuer of the card, you agree to reimburse us for any deposit amounts which you have used or withdrawn and any losses we may have incurred to the extent such amount is subject to charge back or reversal.We may allow you to securely store the details of a debit card or credit card that you use to deposit funds into the Account. After such a card has been verified, we may provide you the option to use an Auto Top-up Functionality. If you opt into the Auto Top-up Functionality, you can elect between one of two choices: (a) schedule an auto Deposit of a pre-selected, fixed amount whenever your Available Balance reaches your predetermined threshold, or (b) schedule an auto Deposit of a pre-selected fixed amount at regular time intervals that you elect (weekly or monthly basis).
