College’s Definition of Excellence of Courses. The College seeks to provide its students with excellence in its courses. Excellence is in respect to the course content; the particular focus, student experience and learning outcomes of the courses; and the quality and the diversity of the faculty members’ skill sets, professional experiences, career paths and identities, including (where applicable) as shown by excellence in teaching at CCA. The College applies this definition of excellence of courses when making selections for course teaching appointments from among bargaining unit members, both current and prospective.
