COMMUNICATION DURING GRIEVANCES. In the absence of the Union's consent, the Employer may not initiate discussions with an employee who has filed a grievance, or on whose behalf the Union has filed a grievance, provided that nothing shall prevent the Employer, without the need for the Union's consent, from carrying on discussions concerning a grievance with a grievor who initiates such discussions.
COMMUNICATION DURING GRIEVANCES. Grievances and replies to grievances shall be in writing at all stages and grievances settled satisfactorily within the time allowed shall date from the time that the grievance was filed.
