ROOM SERVICE GRATUITIES. The Employer agrees that a fixed Room Service gratuity will be levied at not less that 15% and will not be reduced during the term of the collective agreement. The Employer also agrees that 100% of the Room Service gratuities collected will be distributed to the bargaining unit employees providing the service. Complete disclosure of all the Room Service gratuities and distribution to employees will be provided to the employees on a regular basis. This will become effective coincident with the printing of new Room Service menus, but not later than ninety (90) days from the date of ratification.

The Employers also agree that 100% of the Room Service gratuities collected will be distributed to the bargaining unit employees providing the service. ROOM SERVICE GRATUITIES. In Room Service, a suggested gratuity in the amount of fifteen (15) percent shall be shown on a guest’s cheque, with the understanding that non-payment of all/any service charge to the Hotel by the guest will be recoverable from the employee. Said gratuity will go to the Room Service Server. Room Service Servers will also continue to receive the same fifteen (15) percent gratuity on amenities delivered to rooms in accordance with the practice as of the ratification of this Agreement. An automatic gratuity of fifteen percent (15%) will be added to the BEO price for all banquet events held in Hotel rooms. The gratuity distribution for these functions shall be seventy-five percent (75%) to be distributed among unionized Room Service Servers based on hours worked and twenty-five percent (25%) to be set aside for the disposal of the Employer.

  • Retirement Gratuities The issue of Retirement Gratuities has been addressed at the Central Table and the parties agree that formulae contained in current local collective agreements for calculating Retirement Gratuities shall govern payment of retirement gratuities and be limited in their application to terms outlined in Appendix B - Retirement Gratuities. The following language shall be inserted unaltered as a preamble to Retirement Gratuity language into every collective agreement: “Retirement Gratuities were frozen as of August 31, 2012. Employees are not eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity or any non-sick leave credit retirement gratuity (such as, but not limited to, service gratuities or RRSP contributions) after August 31, 2012, except a sick leave credit gratuity that the Employee had accumulated and was eligible to receive as of that day. The following language applies only to those employees eligible for the gratuity above.” SICK LEAVE TO BRIDGE LONG-TERM DISABILITY WAITING PERIOD Boards which have Long-Term Disability waiting periods greater than 131 days shall ensure there is language that accords with the following entitlement: An Employee who has applied for long-term disability is eligible for additional short- term disability leave days up to the maximum difference between the long-term disability waiting period and 131 days. The additional days shall be payable at 90% and shall be used only to bridge the employee to the long-term disability waiting period if, under a collective agreement in effect on August 31, 2012, the employee was required to wait more than 131 days before being eligible for benefits under a long-term disability plan and the collective agreement did not allow the employee the option of reducing that waiting period.   • Gratuities The Contractor will not, in connection with this Contract, directly or indirectly (1) offer, give, or agree to give anything of value to anyone as consideration for any State of Florida officer’s or employee’s decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, other exercise of discretion, or violation of a known legal duty, or (2) offer, give, or agree to give to anyone anything of value for the benefit of, or at the direction or request of, any State of Florida officer or employee.

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.

  • Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.

  • CLOUD SERVICE The Cloud Service offering, is described below and is specified in an Order Document for the selected entitled offerings. The Order Document will consist of the Quotation that is provided and the Proof of Entitlement (XxX) you will receive confirming the start date and term of the Cloud Services and when invoicing will commence.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • CLASSIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES Section 1. A full-time employee shall be deemed to be any employee regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours per week. A regular employee is one whose employment is reasonably expected to continue for longer than fifteen (15) months.
