Compensation for Holidays. 5.3.1 When the holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, the holiday shall be observed (as appropriate) on either the preceding or following day that is not also a holiday. 5.3.2 To receive pay for a holiday, the bargaining unit member must have been in full- paid status on their last regularly scheduled workday preceding or succeeding the holiday.
