Conditions specific to Security Guards. 7.11.1 All 260-day security guards are required to work Board-recognized holidays, as well as Christmas, spring, and summer breaks. A rotation schedule exists to attempt to distribute this workload equitably. All 260-day guards who are not assigned to a permanent patrol schedule in the afternoon/evening/overnight hours are included in this rotation. Security guards may trade assigned holidays only with approval of the Security Director or his designee.
