Recognized Holidays means New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day;

  • If meal tickets are provided to employees, the employee must turn in his meal tickets to the Employer's Representative not later than 4:00 p.m. on the day preceding such weekend or Recognized Holiday(s).

Recognized Holidays. New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day (Day of National observance), July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day, December 24, and Christmas Day. The Employer and the Local Union may substitute another day as a paid holiday in lieu of President's Day or Memorial Day. An understanding of any change from the paid holidays listed must be agreed on by an exchange of letters and upon reasonable notice by either party. When any of the recognized holidays fall on a Sunday, the following Monday may be observed as the holiday or when the holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday may be observed as the holiday. The Company agrees to notify employees ten (10) calendar days in advance, emergencies excepted, of the day on which the holiday shall be observed.

  • NERC Holidays means a holiday as defined by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation or any successor thereto.
