Evening Shifts Clause Samples

Evening Shifts. (a) Effective September 1, 2008, a shift bonus of 67¢ per hour shall be paid for all hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 12 midnight, with the exception that no shift bonus is payable for any part of a normal day shift. (b) Effective September 1, 2009, a shift bonus of 69¢ per hour shall be paid for all hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 12 midnight, with the exception that no shift bonus is payable for any part of a normal day shift. (c) Effective September 1, 2010, a shift bonus of 71¢ per hour shall be paid for all hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 12 midnight, with the exception that no shift bonus is payable for any part of a normal day shift. (d) Effective September 1, 2011, a shift bonus of 73¢ per hour shall be paid for all hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 12 midnight, with the exception that no shift bonus is payable for any part of a normal day shift.

Evening Shifts. Employees scheduled to work evening shifts shall receive, in addition to regular pay, $1.74 per hour for evening shifts worked.

Evening Shifts. 1. Unit employees who are assigned to work any hours that occur on or after 3:00 p.m. but before 12:00 a.m. shall receive one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour extra above their base hourly rate for each hour worked within this time period.

Evening Shifts. Employees on evening shifts shall upon request be issued paycheques from 15:00 hours on the day preceding any payday when the dispatch office opens.

Evening Shifts. KCLS will generally limit evening shifts to two per work week, but the parties recognize that exceptions for legitimate business purposes will be made, including but not limited to, evenings determined by agreement with the employee, employees specifically hired for evening shifts, attendance at meetings, specific program elements, additional assignments/extra hours, and changes in library open hours. An evening shift shall be defined as a shift that ends later than 7 pm (excluding post-closing activities of short duration).

An employee in his/her probationary period in a promoted position may be removed from the promoted position without cause pursuant to Article 14.3.

Evening Shifts. January 1,1998, a shift bonus of 52¢ per hour shall be paid for all hours worked between 4:00 p.m. and 12 midnight, with e exception that no shift bonus is payable for any part of a normal day shift.

Evening Shifts. The exception to the usual workday (Monday to Friday) ending at 6pm is when a resident is scheduled for an evening shift. An evening shift will not exceed eight hours in duration or be less than six (6) hours in duration, and must conclude at or before 11 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. If two (2) or more hours of the evening shift fall beyond 6pm, the resident will be entitled to an evening shift premium of $ 150.00. The total number of call shifts and evening shifts assigned to the Resident during any period described in the chart below shall be prorated downward to reflect the number of days’ present. For example, for a one month rotation, or any part, except by mutual agreement between the resident and the Employer, the following chart applies: 11-14 days on service — 5 call/evening shifts 15-18 days on service —6 call/evening shifts 19-22 days on service — 7 call/evening shifts 23-26 days on service — 8 calls/evening shifts 27-30 days on service — 9 calls/evening shift 31-34 days on service — 10 call/evening shifts 35-38 days on service – 11 call/evening shifts. Residents shall have eight (8) hours off after completion of their shift. With the exception of these provisions, all other aspects of an evening shift will be treated the same as a usual workday. For greater clarity, the provision regarding call shifts in Article 17.01 (a) continue to apply to call.
