Consecutive Hours of Work. Non-consecutive hours may only be assigned in the Banquet Department and the Velvet Glove Restaurant. The Employer agrees to attempt to minimize split shifts in the Banquet Department and the Velvet Glove Restaurant, subject to the exigencies of the Employer's operations. The Employer also agrees that if split shifts are to be worked, it is to be done in reverse order of seniority. Notwithstanding the foregoing, non-consecutive hours may be assigned in other departments if there is mutual agreement between the employee concerned and the Employer, or if such assignment is required in order to maximize hours of work for any particular employee or group of employees.
