Common use of Consecutive Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Consecutive Hours of Work. With the exception of the meal period, an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work unless mutually agreed to otherwise by the employee and the Employer. If a split shift is agreed to between the employee and the Employer, the first part of the split shift shall not be shorter than three (3) hours in duration.
