CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. This Clause 8 applies when the Card has been enabled by the Bank to allow the Customer to carry out Contactless transactions.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. 14.1 This clause applies when the Card has been enabled by us to allow you to carry out Contactless transactions.
14.2 The Cardholder can use the Card to make purchases for small amounts without using the Chip and PIN.
14.3 When making a payment using a Contactless Card reader the Cardholder must place the Card against the reader in the retail outlet. The Card will be detected and the payment is completed without the Cardholder entering their PIN. From time to time, for your security we may ask the Cardholder to conduct a Chip and PIN transaction in which case they must insert their Card and enter their PIN.
14.4 There is a limit on the value of each Contactless transaction set by the Card Scheme. Details of this limit are available at any branch of Bank of Ireland or at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. If your Card has Contactless Transaction functionality then you may use your Card to make a Contactless Transaction for purchases up to £30 at Contactless Terminals without having to sign or enter a PIN. You can use your Card with Mastercard Contactless technology across various Merchants accepting Contactless Mastercard transactions. If your Card has Contactless Transaction functionality which you use frequently then you may periodically be asked to authorise a transaction via an alternative method (such as using your PIN) for security reasons.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. This Agreement applies to Contactless Transactions using your Debit Card, where applicable. We and/or participating merchants may establish maximum transaction limits from time to time for Contactless Transactions. As a result, if you exceed these limits, you may need to insert your Debit Card in a POS terminal to complete your transaction. You are responsible for all authorised use of a valid Debit Card. CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. You agree and acknowledge that no payment for a single contactless transaction may exceed the contactless limit. If you accept one or more contactless transactions exceeding the contactless limit, you agree and acknowledge that you will be liable for (and will indemnify us against) all losses in relation to the contactless transactions.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. 8.1 The contactless functionality will only be available at selected merchants.
8.2 Contactless transaction limits will be set up based on your individual profile when you are issued with the Card. The bank may change these limits in accordance with industry limits and/or at its discretion.
8.3 The customer may opt to switch this functionality off.

(ii) You can use the Card to make purchases for small amounts without using the Chip and Pin.
(iii) When using your card for purchases using a Contactless Card reader you must place your Card against the reader in the retail outlet. The Card will be detected and the payment is completed without you entering your PIN. From time to time, for your security we may ask you to conduct a Chip and PIN transaction in which case you must insert your Card and enter your PIN.
(iv) There is a limit on the value of each Contactless transaction set by the Visa Scheme. Full details of this limit are contained in the Schedule of fees and charges for personal customers which is available at any branch of Bank of Ireland or at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS. After every $200 in contactless Point-of-Sale Transactions made using the Debit Card, or such other dollar limit as determined by the Financial Institution from time to time in its discretion, a contact Point-of-Sale Transaction with its associated PIN must be completed before additional contactless transactions will be permitted. This validates that the card is still in the possession of the Depositor, re- establishes the contactless Point-of-Sale limits, and allows the Depositor to continue using the contactless feature on the Debit Card. Any Point-of-Sale Transaction in excess of $200, or such other dollar limit as determined by the Financial Institution from time to time in its discretion, shall be a contact Point-of-Sale Transaction with its associated PIN.
