Contactless Technology definition

Contactless Technology means any technology which allows the transfer of Charge Data from a Chip Card or Mobile Device to a point of sale terminal on a contactless basis in respect of an In Person Charge. Covered Parties means any or all of your employees, agents, representatives, subcontractors, Processors, providers of your point of sale equipment or systems or payment processing solutions, and any other party to whom you may provide Cardmember Information access in accordance with this Agreement.
Contactless Technology means the technology identified as Visa payWave on accessible devices which allows the authorized representative to make a payment using the Visa Desjardins card at participating merchants for max- imum purchases between $50 and $150 depending on merchant specifications; the transaction is carried out by simply “waving” the card or an eligible mobile device in front of the accessible device, without having to sign a transaction slip or enter a Visa Desjardins PIN in an accessible device.
Contactless Technology means any technology which allows the transfer of Charge Data from a Chip Card or Mobile Device to a point of sale terminal on a contactless basis in respect of an In Person Charge. Customer Activated Terminal (CAT) means an unattended point of sale system (e.g. a ‘pay at pump’ fuel dispenser or a vending machine). Digital Delivery Transaction occurs when goods or services are ordered online and/or digitally delivered (e.g. images, applications or software downloads). Digital Order occurs when a Charge Data is taken via a website payment page, over the internet, e-mail, intranet, extranet or other digital network in payment for goods and services. This includes Internet Charges and Application Initiated Charges.

  • Technology means all Software, content, websites, technical data, subroutines, tools, materials, invention disclosures, improvements, apparatus, creations, works of authorship and other similar materials, and all recordings, graphs, drawings, reports, analyses, documentation, user manuals and other writings, and other tangible embodiments of the foregoing, in any form whether or not specifically listed herein.

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Assistive technology means the devices, aids, controls, supplies, or appliances described in OAR 411-300-0150 that are purchased to provide support for a child and replace the need for direct interventions to enable self-direction of care and maximize independence of the child.

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Assistive technology device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capacities of a child with a disability.

  • Product Technology means the Product Know-How and Product Patents.

  • Proprietary Technology means the technical innovations that are unique and
