Contract Document Preparation. Prepare final plans and specifications for the Project, which shall include incorporation of plans and specifications prepared by subconsultants. Engineer shall assist in the preparation of contract documents. Engineer shall prepare all necessary project/plan review forms checklists, labor compliance requests, wage determination requests, bidding documents and other forms to assist the City with procuring Bids. Engineer shall review all plans and specifications and supporting documentation and resolve any inconsistencies in said documents being incorporated into the Contract prior to bid. To the extent possible, the Engineer will follow the document format supplied by the City and use the standard terms and conditions supplied by the City in preparation of these documents.

Contract Document Preparation. Prepare for review and approval by the City, its Attorney and other advisors, contract agreement forms, general conditions and supplementary conditions and (where requested) bid forms, invitations to bid and instructions to bidder, including for federally funded Projects, all documentation, including wage determinations, in order to comply with Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act or City code requirements, and assist in the preparation of other related contract documents. To the extent possible, the Engineer will follow the document format supplied by the City and use the standard terms and conditions supplied by the City in preparation of these documents.
Contract Document Preparation. Complete preparation of the construction contract documents by filling in the necessary information in Parts I, II, and IV of the City’s standard CICC. The Consulting Engineer shall prepare Part 3 “Technical Specification” of the CICC for inclusion in the standard construction contract. The Consulting Engineer shall not alter the City’s standard contract document without the permission of the City’s Representative. The City’s Representative may provide the Consulting Engineer with previously prepared Technical Specifications which may be used as appropriate. The Consulting Engineer shall, to the maximum extent possible, follow the formats for Technical Specifications as provided by the City’s Representative.
Contract Document Preparation. The ENGINEER shall utilize the Engineers’ standard specifications that will be combined with EJCDC Contract for Construction of a Small Project contract language. The ENGINEER will provide the required technical specifications and the contract front‐end documents for this project. This contract and associate specifications will be provided to the OWNER for review during the 90% Submittal. The ENGINEER shall await OWNER approval of the 90% submittal before completing the documents. A. CAMA Minor Permit B. No‐Rise Certification Letter This task includes one sufficiency response for each of the agencies above. One response will be prepared to satisfy requests for unique additional information to obtain permits, and is therefore the basis of the negotiated permitting budget for the ENGINEER. It is assumed that environmental wetland and stream impacts will be minimized, and that environmental mitigation will not be required. If mitigation is required to offset unavoidable stream or wetland impacts, or other types of permits are needed, these services shall be negotiated as additional services outside the scope of this agreement. It is assumed that the project will fall within CAMA jurisdiction, the project will be approved as a variance to the 60 foot setback, and will require a CAMA Minor Permit. The ENGINEER will coordinate with CAMA to verify the limits of CAMA jurisdiction following the delineation task and prior to the permit application task. The ENGINEER shall submit components of the CAMA Minor Permit to the OWNER, include the associated GIS figures and the completed permit form, so that the OWNER’s Attorney can submit this Minor Permit to CAMA and secure CAMA approval of the plans prior to completing the documents. It is assumed that the project will not need to be permitted by a USACOE Nationwide Permit(s) and 401 General Certification(s). If any 404 Permit and 401 Individual Certification are required, these services shall be negotiated as additional services outside the scope of this agreement. A No‐Rise Certification Letter is included within this permitting effort as this project is located within a VE and XX xxxxx zone. Since no changes to the overall topography are expected as a result of this project, it is assumed that only a No‐Rise Certification Letter will be required.   • Construction Document Phase 1.4.1 Based on the approved Design Development Documents, Guaranteed Maximum Price, coordinated models and any further adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project or in the Amount Available for the Construction Contract authorized by the Owner, the Architect/Engineer shall prepare, for approval by the Owner and review by the Construction Manager, Construction Documents consisting of Drawings, Schedules and Specifications derived from the model(s) in accordance with Owner’s written requirements setting forth in detail the requirements for construction of the Project, including, without limitation, the BIM Execution Plan and “Facility Design Guidelines”. The Plans, Drawings and Specifications for the entire Project shall be so prepared that same will call for the construction of the building and related facilities, together with its built-in permanent fixtures and equipment which will cost not more than the Guaranteed Maximum Price accepted by Owner, or the Amount Available for the Construction Contract established by Owner if no Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal has been accepted by Owner. The Architect/Engineer will be responsible for managing the design to stay within such Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal or Amount Available for the Construction Contract. The Architect/Engineer shall review the Construction Documents as they are being prepared at intervals appropriate to the progress of the Project with the Owner and Construction Manager at the Project site or other location specified by Owner in the State of Texas. The Architect/Engineer shall utilize the model(s) to support the review process during Construction Documents. The Architect/Engineer shall provide the Construction Manager with a compact disc containing documents and data files derived from the model to assist the Construction Manager in fulfilling its responsibilities to the Owner. 1.4.2 As a part of Construction Documents Phase, Architect/Engineer shall accomplish model coordination, aggregation and “clash detection” to remove conflicts in design between systems, structures and components. Architect/Engineer shall demonstrate and provide written assurance to Owner that all conflicts/collisions between models have been resolved. 1.4.3 The Architect/Engineer shall consult with the Owner and Construction Manager on matters such as construction phasing and scheduling, bid or proposal alternates, liquidated damages, the construction contract time period, and other construction issues appropriate for the Project. The Architect/Engineer shall assist the Owner and Construction Manager in the preparation of the necessary bidding information, bidding forms, RFP information, and RFP forms, and the Conditions of the Contract. 1.4.4 The Architect/Engineer shall assist the Owner in connection with the Owner’s responsibility and procedures for obtaining approval of all building and accessibility authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. 1.4.5 The Architect/Engineer shall provide coordination and inclusion of sequence of operations for all operable systems in the facility as defined by Owner during Design Development. 1.4.6 The Architect/Engineer shall review the Estimated Construction Cost prepared by the Construction Manager, and shall provide written comments. 1.4.7 The Architect/Engineer shall participate in a final review of the Construction Documents and model(s) with the Owner and Construction Manager at the Project location or other location specified by Owner in the State of Texas. Prior to the Owner’s approval of the Construction Documents, the Architect/Engineer shall incorporate such changes as are necessary to satisfy the Owner’s review comments. 1.4.8 Before proceeding into the Bidding and Proposal Phase, the Architect/Engineer shall obtain Owner’s written acceptance of the Construction Documents and approval of the Final Amount Available for the Construction Contract as approved by the Board of Regents.
