CONTRACTOR Employment Program. Contractor’s employment workshops, resources, businesses and enrichment programs shall endeavor to improve clients’ job search skills, self-confidence and employability. Contractor, through the provision of service, shall endeavor to instill in its clients good work habits, the soft skills that are crucial to success in any work environment, and shall provide consistent encouragement to boost client self- esteem. The three primary components to Contractor’s Homeless Prevention Employment Program are Job Readiness Preparation, Contractor Enterprises, and Job Retention which shall include services as follows:

  • Contractor Employees 10.1 Details of any individuals employed by contractors working in the school.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.

  • Pre-Employment Testing A pre-employment drug test will be conducted under the following conditions, except where conditions listed in Part 382.301(b)(c) are met:

  • Project Employment 1. The Employer may appoint employees into project positions for which employment is contingent upon state, federal, local, grant, or other special funding of specific and of time-limited duration. The Employer will notify the employees, in writing, of the expected ending date of the project employment.

  • Student Employment (a) Students who are employed to backfill in a bargaining unit position shall be paid the bargaining unit rate and if so employed for more than ten (10) weeks will be a member of the bargaining unit.

  • Secondary Employment A. For any employee entitled to disability leave, the employer shall pay the covered employee compensation in accordance with section 10.2 governing disability leave.

  • In-Training Employment 1. The Employer may designate specific positions, groups of positions, or all positions in a job classification or series as in-training. The Employer will document the training program, including a description and length of the program.

  • Removal of Contractor Employee All employees of the Engineer assigned to this contract shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. The State may instruct the Engineer to remove any employee from association with work authorized in this contract if, in the sole opinion of the State, the work of that employee does not comply with the terms of this contract or if the conduct of that employee becomes detrimental to the work.

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.
