Convention and Trade Show Activities. Sponsor shall be provided with the following convention and trade show opportunities as permitted by the qualified convention and trade show rules as set forth in § 513(d) of the Code: 2024 Exhibitor Space Sponsor will be provided exhibit space in a reserved section of the Career Fair and Graduate School Expo with priority selection. Sponsor’s booth selection will take place in May, before general exhibitors. Sponsor may select any combination of booth space up to a 20x20 island exhibitor space for a total of 400 sq feet. (ie, 10x10, 10x20, 10x30). No discount will be given for selecting a smaller booth space. One workshop on selected convention topics Sponsor shall have the opportunity to propose content for a workshop or presentation conducted at the National Convention. Proposals must be submitted by the published “guaranteed workshop” deadline and meet SHPE’s curriculum needs and requirements. SHPE shall have the sole discretion in approving such proposals. After the workshop proposal deadline, workshops will be selected based on content and availability and are no longer guaranteed. Sponsor must meet all posted deadlines for content, speaker designation, bio/headshot and all relevant materials or will forfeit their session. One (1) interview booth One interview space will be assigned in a priority location. Interview booths are 10x10 or 8x10 space. 8’ high drape all 4 sides with a skirted table, 2 chairs and a waste basket. The interview hall is not carpeted and carpet isn’t required. Additional interview booths available for purchase for $800 each (IPC rate). Interview booths will be assigned in late August.
Convention and Trade Show Activities. Company shall be provided with the following convention and trade show opportunities as permitted by the qualified convention and trade show rules set forth in § 513(d) of the Code and Treasury regulations: Exhibitor Space. Company shall be provided with exhibit booths/tables at the following ABC and ABC annual meetings and trade shows, consistent with standard ABC procedures for vendor booths: ______________ subject to the conditions herein. The size of the booths/tables shall be as follows: _____________. Booths may contain, subject to the ABC’s approval, sales staff and/or Company products and Company promotional items for distribution. All costs associated with such booths, tables, and exhibits, other than the exhibit fees, and including, but not limited to, electricity and storage, are the sole responsibility of Company and not covered by fees set forth in this Agreement. Exhibit booth opportunities are subject to all applicable ABC policies and procedures concerning booths at ABC meetings.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent/Principal shall be encouraged to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state, and national levels. Within budget constraints, such costs of attendance shall be paid by the Board. The Superintendent/Principal’s attendance at professional meetings at the national level must have prior approval of the Board.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Marketing Activities The Borrower will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, engage in marketing activities for any Hydrocarbons or enter into any contracts related thereto other than (i) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from their proved Oil and Gas Properties during the period of such contract, (ii) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from proved Oil and Gas Properties of third parties during the period of such contract associated with the Oil and Gas Properties of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries that the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries has the right to market pursuant to joint operating agreements, unitization agreements or other similar contracts that are usual and customary in the oil and gas business and (iii) other contracts for the purchase and/or sale of Hydrocarbons of third parties (A) which have generally offsetting provisions (i.e. corresponding pricing mechanics, delivery dates and points and volumes) such that no “position” is taken and (B) for which appropriate credit support has been taken to alleviate the material credit risks of the counterparty thereto.

  • Promotion and Marketing For the purpose of promotion and marketing, the Borrower hereby authorizes and consents to the reproduction, disclosure and use by the Lenders and the Agent of its name, identifying logo and the Facilities. The Borrower acknowledges and agrees that the Lenders shall be entitled to determine, in their sole discretion, whether to use such information; that no compensation will be payable by the Lenders or the Agent in connection therewith; and that the Lenders and the Agent shall have no liability whatsoever to it or any of its employees, officers, directors, affiliates or shareholders in obtaining and using such information as contemplated herein.

If such request for promotion or transfer is offered and the employee refuses, the request becomes null and void and he/she shall resubmit his/her request no sooner than six (6) months after the original request. 9:3 Company may either promote a lower classification or transfer an employee in the same classification, if a job is not filled under Section 9:1. 9:4 Whenever a temporary vacancy occurs in any job classification, the Company may fill it by appointment. If practicable, the Company shall fill such vacancy with the senior qualified employee in the next lower classification within the headquarters. Temporary vacancies shall be those vacancies caused by the absence of an employee due to industrial injury, leave of absence, vacation or sick leave and additional jobs which the Company contemplates will be of ninety (90) days’ duration or less. 9:5 Whenever the Company establishes a new headquarters or additional crews, employees within that geographical division shall be notified a sufficient time in advance to enable them to file a request for transfer or promotion to the new headquarters or crew. The Supervisor in the geographical area will notify the area Business Representative of new crew locations. 9:6 Employees who accept a promotion to a new headquarters will indicate in writing that he understands that acceptance of the promotion establishes him in a new permanent headquarters without lodging.

  • Commercial Activities Neither Contractor nor its employees shall establish any commercial activity or issue concessions or permits of any kind to Third Parties for establishing commercial activities on the Site or any other lands owned or controlled by Owner.

  • Foreign-Owned Companies in Connection with Critical Infrastructure If Texas Government Code, Section 2274.0102(a)(1) (relating to prohibition on contracts with certain foreign-owned companies in connection with critical infrastructure) is applicable to this Contract, pursuant to Government Code Section 2274.0102, Contractor certifies that neither it nor its parent company, nor any affiliate of Contractor or its parent company, is: (1) majority owned or controlled by citizens or governmental entities of China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or any other country designated by the Governor under Government Code Section 2274.0103, or (2) headquartered in any of those countries.
