Copies of Evaluations. A teacher shall be given a copy of any evaluation report prepared by his evaluator at least one (1) day before any conference to discuss it. No such report shall be submitted to the central office, placed in the teacher's file, or otherwise acted upon without prior conference with the teacher. No teacher shall be required to sign a blank or incomplete evaluation form.
Copies of Evaluations. The administration shall evaluate each teacher in writing. The evaluating administrator shall provide the employee the original signed evaluation for copying, and the employee shall return the original to the administrator.

A teacher’s signature on an evaluation form will show that he/she has received a copy of it, but does not necessarily show that he/she is in agreement with it.

2. No such observation report shall be submitted to the school administration, placed in the teacher's file or otherwise acted upon without prior conference with the teacher. No teacher shall be required to sign a blank or incomplete observation form.
3. There shall be no requirement for a teacher to complete a self-evaluation form.
Copies of Evaluations. 1. The evaluated person shall have ten (10) working days to sign the report and/or submit a written rebuttal.
2. Failure of the evaluated person to sign the report within the designated time period shall not preclude placing the report in their file.
3. The signature of the evaluated person shall not establish agreement or consent with the contents but shall indicate that the person has seen the document and is aware of its contents.

Copies of evaluations and discussions of evaluations shall be in accordance with the requirements of the Teacher Effectiveness and Accountability for the Children of New Jersey Act (TEACHNJ), P.L. 212, c. 36. Both the teacher's copy and the file copy of the evaluation report shall be signed by the teacher and the evaluator.
Copies of Evaluations. The evaluator shall prepare an evaluation report on one (1) observation. The Board recognizes the importance of timely discussions of evaluations. Every effort shall be made to provide the teacher with a copy of the evaluation report within five (5) school days of the observation and in no event more than ten (10) calendar days of the observation, and at least one (1) day prior to any conference pertaining to the content of the report. Both the teacher's copy and the file copy of the evaluation report shall be signed by the teacher and the evaluator.
Copies of Evaluations a. The Superintendent shall sign all copies of each written evaluation including the copy to be placed in the Principal’s personnel file.
b. The Principal shall be given a duplicate copy of each written evaluation signed by the Superintendent at least one (1) day prior to the conference with the Superintendent to discuss the evaluation.
c. No written evaluation may become part of the Principal’s personnel file without the Principal’s opportunity for signature attesting to the fact that the contents of the evaluation are known to him. The Principal’s signature does not necessarily indicate agreement with the contents of the evaluation.
d. The Principal shall have the right, upon written request one (1) day in advance, to review contents of his personnel file and be able to make a copy of his evaluation or any other documents contained therein.
