Approved Courses. Payments made under the Education Reimbursement Program will be confined to courses: (a) commenced after the officer has completed the appropriate service time required to qualify for the program, and (b) approved for each officer by the Chief of Police or the Chief’s designee. All courses must be taken on the officer’s own time. Courses successfully challenged will not be eligible for payment under this program.
Approved Courses. (a) First degree courses at the University of Western Australia, Xxxxxxx University, Xxxxxx University of Technology and Xxxxx Xxxxx University.

Approved Courses. This Agreement is for the purpose of recognizing only those Education Courses submitted by You and approved by GBCI. You agree that You shall take affirmative steps to avoid creating any inference or implication that other, non-approved courses are approved by GBCI. To that end, You agree to make no statements or representations indicating or implying, in any manner, that GBCI has accredited, certified, sponsored, or endorsed any other Education Course, products, publications, credentials, certificates, or services of Yours. You shall use the approved messaging in order to describe Your relationship with GBCI.
Approved Courses. Where an employee attends a Company approved internal or external course appropriate to the classification structure as a trainee he/she accrues duty hour credits at the following rate of each day of the course: The flying line holder’s divisor applicable to the employee’s category during the period of the course divided by 38.
Approved Courses. (a) Two year full-time Certificate courses and Diploma courses provided by a registered vocational education and training institutions.
Approved Courses. No course shall be considered to have been approved by the Board of Education unless and until the teacher concerned shall have made a request for approval of such course, in writing, to the school administrator, prior to the enrollment in said course by said teacher. Such approved courses may be either academic or professional subject matter, and they must be of such nature that they could make a positive contribution to the teacher's excellence in performance within the scope of his employment within the Green Brook School System. Recognizing the fact that certain courses which may not be directly within the scope of a teacher's employment may be of value in preparing that teacher for another position in the Green Brook School System, the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, may approve a course or courses not wholly within the scope of a teacher's existing position within the Green Brook School system where such course or courses, it the opinion of the Superintendent, may be of future value to the Green Brook School System.
Approved Courses. All courses which meet the terms and conditions of courses that are offered by the FAU catalog shall be eligible for dual enrollment, except as set forth on FAU dual-enrollment website at xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/registrar/dual-enrollment/#Course. Courses eligible for dual enrollment must be a minimum of three college credits; courses with two or more college credits with a 1.0 or more credit lab are acceptable. If there are co-requisite courses required by FAU, the courses must be taken simultaneously. A delineation of high school credits earned for completion of each dual enrollment course is available at xxx.XXXX.xxx under “Degrees and Careers; Accelerated Credit Options; Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions Credit." SBBC will not pay tuition for dual enrollment district school students during the summer term.
Approved Courses. Each member shall be eligible to receive reimbursement, not to exceed six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00) each fiscal year, provided that the course of instruction, workshop or seminar is approved in advance of enrollment by the Police Chief and the Human Resources DirectorPersonnel Officer, and the member must successfully complete each course submitted for reimbursement with a grade of “C” or better, or a passing grade in a pass/fail course, or with receipt of a certificate of completion or letter certifying the awarding of C.E.U. units. All members shall be eligible to receive reimbursement, not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) of the maximum six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00) tuition reimbursement fiscal year entitlement, for the purchase of reference materials listed in the core reference material appendix to this M.O.U. The Human Resources DirectorPersonnel Officer and the Police Chief may establish standards and criteria and enact such rules, regulations, procedures and policies as are necessary or appropriate to implement the provisions of this Section.
Approved Courses. Programs leading to a high school diploma, the General Education Development (GED) exam, college courses, degree programs or their equivalent shall be approved. Courses and certification programs which are job related or related to future promotional opportunities with the Employer shall be approved. Exam preparation courses are eligible for reimbursement provided that successful passage of the examination leads to credit for a course which would otherwise have been approved and that the employee successfully passes the examination.
