CPR and First Aid Training. Drivers are also required to complete CPR and first aid training and renew such training every two years. District Procedures Training: At any time requested by the District, drivers shall participate in formal, District provided training regarding its students, expectations, procedures, guidelines, and providing services to special education students. All new drivers’ information and required forms, including name, telephone number, license number and class, required certification and training certificates, Fingerprint Certification Form, Employee Acknowledgement Form, and the Suspected Child Abuse Reporting Acknowledgement Form, must be provided to the District prior to the start on any route at least 24 hours in advance of the driver’s first pickup. At the sole decision of the District and at any time, any driver may be rejected, suspend, or removed from performing work under this Contract. District aggress to promptly provide Contractor with a written reason for rejecting, suspending, or removing any driver. Any driver who is suspected of driving under the influence will be removed immediately, and Contractor will provide a substitute driver.

CPR and First Aid Training. The Township will pay for the cost of CPR and First Aid Courses taken by the Crossing Guards. The Township agrees to pay the Crossing Guards at straight time for all hours spent attending an approved CPR Course. Further, Crossing Guards are not required to attend CPR and First Aid Courses as a job requirement. All CPR and First Aid Courses must be approved by the Township before registration.
CPR and First Aid Training. If CPR and first aid training are required as a part of the unit member's position, CAVA shall provide such training at its cost or shall provide reimbursement for CAVA approved training regarding such subjects.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Apprenticeship Training The enterprise agrees to work with the union to improve apprenticeship training and the number of apprentices in training.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Health and Safety Training Regular employees and auxiliary employees in posted positions shall participate in a Health and Safety Training session once in a calendar year. The training program offered by the Employer must be approved by the joint Health and Safety Committee prior to such training commencing. Training will be provided during normal work hours and employees shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.
