Criteria for Continuing Appointment and Promotion. 16.6.1 Criteria for Continuing Appointment and promotion shall be applied as nearly as possible in a consistent and uniform manner in accordance with the appointment and with the rank. Candidates for Continuing Appointment shall be assessed according to the criteria for a Continuing Appointment pursuant to 16.6.2; candidates for promotion to Librarian II shall be assessed according to the criteria for Librarian II, pursuant to 16.6.3; for Librarian III according to the criteria for Librarian III, pursuant to 16.6.4; and Librarian IV according to the criteria for Librarian IV, pursuant to 16.6.5.

Criteria for Continuing Appointment and Promotion. The criteria below apply to advancement of a librarian or archivist from Candidacy to continuing appoint- ment, as well as promotion from the rank of Assistant Librarian/Archivist to Associate Librarian/Archivist. To qualify for a continuing appointment or for pro- motion to the rank of Associate Librarian/Archivist, an individual must be assessed to have at least high competence in the area of professional performance and knowledge, at least high competence in one other area and at least competence in the third area. Evidence of the levels of competence required would include, but not be limited to, the following character- istics of performance:

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

  • Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Non-Promotive Appointment 254. An employee or officer who is a permanent appointee following completion of the probationary period or 2,080 hours of permanent service, and who accepts a non-promotive appointment in a classification having the same salary grade, or a lower salary grade, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary step which is the same as that received in the prior appointment, or if the salary steps do not match, then the salary step which is immediately in excess of that received in the prior appointment, provided that such salary shall not exceed the maximum of the salary grade. Further increments shall be based upon the seniority increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.

  • Medical/Dental Appointments ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.

  • Initial Appointments The Company appoints the Trustee as the initial Paying Agent, the initial Registrar and the initial Conversion Agent.

  • TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT 6.1 The Issuer may terminate the appointment of the Calculation Agent at any time by giving to the Calculation Agent at least 45 days' prior written notice to that effect, provided that, so long as any of the Relevant Notes is outstanding:
