Common use of Cultural and Ceremonial Leave Clause in Contracts

Cultural and Ceremonial Leave. unpaid entitlement (a) An Employee (other than a Casual Employee) of Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander descent is entitled to three days’ unpaid leave per year for ceremonial purposes upon the death of a member of their immediate family or extended family, or for the purpose of other ceremonial obligations. (b) Ceremonial leave granted under this clause is in addition to compassionate leave granted under clause 31.
