Data Visualization Tools. The ArcGIS system implements a variety of tools for effective data visualization, enabling end-users to analyze and interpret spatial information with ease. One key feature in ArcGIS Indoors data is its ability to create detailed indoor maps that accurately represent the layout and information of buildings, including rooms, corridors, and amenities. This level of detail allows users to visualize spatial information in a familiar indoor environment, making it easier to understand and interpret. In addition to floorplan maps with facilities, there are more advanced analytics that can be performed and represented. Additionally, dashboards and other data visualization tools can be created to analyze facility information and share it effectively with stakeholders. Any data on the map can be “symbolized’ or visually represented in ways that denote information about the feature. For example, a classroom could be green because it is being utilized properly while a conference room shows red because it is in poor repair. A 3-D map could show windows as translucent blue while emergency doors are red. Rooms can be labelled with square footage, room usage, or capacity. Part of the collaborative process of any project is determining what information the client wants to attach to the dataset. All this information can be represented and analyzed once it is prepared.
