Common use of Daylight Saving Clause in Contracts

Daylight Saving. 4.5.13.1 Despite anything contained elsewhere in this Agreement, where summer time is prescribed as being in advance of the standard time, the length of any shift: (a) Commencing before the time prescribed for the commencement of the summer time period and, (b) Commencing on or before the time prescribed for the termination of the summer time period, will be the number of hours represented by the difference between the time recorded by the clock at the beginning of the shift and the time recorded at the end of it, the time of the clock in each case to be set to the time fixed in accordance with the daylight saving legislation. 4.5.13.2 In this sub-Clause the expressions "standard time" and "summer time" have the
