DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. (a) Employees shall work eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week between 00:01 Monday to 24:00 the following Sunday, provided work is available. (f) When an employee is called to work on one (1) of his days off, he shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at overtime rates. (g) When an employee goes on to a higher rated job, than his normal job, he shall be paid at the higher rate for the actual time worked on that job. Time would include any preparation work or the gathering of materials involved in such job. (h) In order that an accurate record of hours worked are kept, the Employer shall use time sheets. Each employee commencing work for the Employer shall be issued a time sheet, and all time shown thereon be paid for. (i) If an employee reports late for work, that employee will only be paid from the time he commences work and for the time actually worked, but continual tardiness may warrant dismissal. If an employee on a classified job reports late for work exceeding thirty (30) minutes without a legitimate reason and there is a rush job waiting to be done which involves this employee, the Employer may put another employee on that job for that day and the employee who is late for work on the job the other employee left. All overtime shall be broken down into ten (10) minute units based on one-sixth (1/6th) of the applicable hourly rate. (j) When employees are advised to report for work at a specified time, they shall be paid from that time, even though there may be no work for them to do. (k) The Company agrees that if it becomes necessary to work overtime, such overtime will be distributed as equally as possible amongst those employees concerned who are qualified to perform such work. (l) Employees who do not notify the Employer as soon as possible that they are unable to be at work at their designated starting time, will not be guaranteed eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are required by Management for that shift. (m) Drivers of vehicles only will be paid for travel time to and from a Local job site. Other employees will be paid travel time to distant locations at straight time rates of pay. Once at such distant location, travel time to and from the actual job site will then be treated in the same manner as a Local job site. (n) A premium of fifty cents (50¢) per hour shall be paid for all straight time hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.

DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. The minimum unit of banked overtime to be utilized is equivalent to eight (8) regular hours. In the event the Company does not agree to the arrangements for banking accumulated overtime, the Union may take the failure to agree directly to the last step (Arbitration) of the Grievance Procedure under Article 11. (i) It is intended that employees will sign up annually for banked overtime. There will be no banking of overtime during the month of December. (ii) Where an employee desires to bank his overtime, he shall request in writing indicating same. When the annual maximum of one hundred (100) hours are accumulated, the time off shall be taken during any open period from May 1 to April 30, excluding the month of December. (f) When an employee is called to work on one (1) of his days off, he shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at overtime rates. (g) When an employee goes on to a higher rated job, than his normal job, he shall be paid at the higher rate for the actual time worked on that job. Time would include any preparation work or the gathering of materials involved in such job. (h) In order that an accurate record of hours worked are kept, the The Employer shall use time sheets. Each employee commencing work for the Employer shall be issued a time sheet, and all time shown thereon be paid for. (i) If an employee reports late for work, that employee will only be paid from the time he commences work and for the time actually worked, but continual tardiness may warrant dismissal. If an employee on a classified job reports late for work exceeding thirty (30) minutes without a legitimate reason and there is a rush job waiting to be done which involves this employee, the Employer may put another employee on that job for that day and the employee who is late for work on the job the other employee left. All overtime shall be broken down into ten (10) minute units based on one-sixth (1/6th) of the applicable hourly rate. (j) When employees are advised to report for work at a specified time, they shall be paid from that time, even though there may be no work for them to do. (k) The Company agrees that if it becomes necessary to work overtime, such overtime will be distributed as equally as possible amongst those employees concerned who are qualified to normally perform such work. (lf) Employees who do not notify All employees working with tools shall be allowed sufficient time during working hours to return tools, parts, etc. to the Employer as soon as possible that they are unable to be at work at their designated starting time, will not be guaranteed eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are required by Management for that Maintenance Building before the end of each shift. (mg) Drivers of vehicles only will be All employees engaged in "dirty" work (i.e. work in which an employee gets dirty to the point where he would require a longer washup period to get clean), such employee shall receive a paid for travel time to and from a Local job site. Other employees will be paid travel time to distant locations at straight time rates of pay. Once at such distant location, travel time to and from the actual job site will then be treated in the same manner as a Local job sitefive (5) minute washup period. (nh) A premium of fifty cents (50¢) per hour If overtime is necessary, all employees, based on their seniority, shall be paid for all straight given the opportunity to work and if no employee(s) volunteers, the least senior employee(s) capable of doing the work shall be required to do the work. (i) The Employer agrees to negotiate shift differentials and rotations with the Union if the Employer chooses to implement any shifts other than the present day shifts. (j) Full-time employees may bank overtime hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.to a maximum of forty
