DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. (a) Employees shall work eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week between 00:01 Monday to 24:00 the following Sunday, provided work is available. (b) Any hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1) day shall be paid for at the rate of double time the regular rate. (c) All time worked on a Saturday shall be paid at double time the regular rate. All time worked on a Sunday shall be paid at double time the regular rate. (d) Any employee called to work in any emergency after his working day has been completed shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours' pay at double time rates. (e) Any employee who is required to start a shift between the hours of 16:30 and 00:30 the following day shall only work seven and one-half (7 ½) hours but paid for eight (8) hours. Any employee who is required to start a shift between the hours of 00:30 and 08:00 shall only work seven (7) hours but shall be paid for eight (8) hours. (f) When an employee is called to work on one (1) of his days off, he shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at overtime rates. (g) When an employee goes on to a higher rated job, than his normal job, he shall be paid at the higher rate for the actual time worked on that job. Time would include any preparation work or the gathering of materials involved in such job. (h) In order that an accurate record of hours worked are kept, the Employer shall use time sheets. Each employee commencing work for the Employer shall be issued a time sheet, and all time shown thereon be paid for. (i) If an employee reports late for work, that employee will only be paid from the time he commences work and for the time actually worked, but continual tardiness may warrant dismissal. If an employee on a classified job reports late for work exceeding thirty (30) minutes without a legitimate reason and there is a rush job waiting to be done which involves this employee, the Employer may put another employee on that job for that day and the employee who is late for work on the job the other employee left. All overtime shall be broken down into ten (10) minute units based on one-sixth (1/6th) of the applicable hourly rate. (j) When employees are advised to report for work at a specified time, they shall be paid from that time, even though there may be no work for them to do. (k) The Company agrees that if it becomes necessary to work overtime, such overtime will be distributed as equally as possible amongst those employees concerned who are qualified to perform such work. (l) Employees who do not notify the Employer as soon as possible that they are unable to be at work at their designated starting time, will not be guaranteed eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are required by Management for that shift. (m) Drivers of vehicles only will be paid for travel time to and from a Local job site. Other employees will be paid travel time to distant locations at straight time rates of pay. Once at such distant location, travel time to and from the actual job site will then be treated in the same manner as a Local job site. (n) A premium of fifty cents (50¢) per hour shall be paid for all straight time hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.

DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. (a) Employees Each employee shall work be guaranteed eight (8) hours per or ten (10) hours pay each day, five provided he commences work at the start of his shift, with a half (5½) days per hour off for lunch. The work week between 00:01 shall be Monday to 24:00 Friday inclusive. Senior employees shall have the first right of refusal for the ten (10) hour afternoon shift in order of seniority. If no one wants the shift it shall be worked by the junior employee(s). However, provided work is availablequalified employees shall be required to train probationary employees for the afternoon shift for a maximum period of up to one week unless the qualified employee agrees otherwise. (b) Any hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours Monday to Friday on an eight (8) hour shift as defined in Section (a) above in any one (1) day shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½X) for the first two (2) hours and double time the regular rate(2X) thereafter. However, all hours worked in excess of forty-four (44) hours in a normal work week shall be at double time (2X). Any hours worked in excess of ten (10) hours on a ten hour shift, Monday to Thursday, shall be paid at double time (2X). (c) All time worked on a Saturday scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of double time the regular rate. All time worked on a Sunday shall be paid at double time the regular rate(2X). (d) Any employee called in to work in any emergency from his home after his working day has been completed shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours' hours pay at the rate of double time ratestime. (e) Any hourly rated employee who is required to start reporting for duty on a call out or call back basis inconsistent with his regular scheduled work day or shift between the hours of 16:30 and 00:30 the following day shall only work seven and one-half (7 ½) hours but paid for eight (8) hours. Any employee who is required to start a shift between the hours of 00:30 and 08:00 shall only work seven (7) hours but shall be paid for eight (8) hours. (f) When an employee is called to work on one (1) of his days off, he shall receive guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at overtime ratesdouble time (2X), but after completion of the duty he was called for, he may book off work with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at double time (2X). (f) Any employee required to commence his shift prior to 6:00 a.m. or later than 2:00 p.m., shall only work eight (8) hours and shall receive an hourly premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) for each hour worked. The company shall deliver to the Union semi-annually, a list of the names of such employees, the shifts worked and the amounts paid. No premium will be payable when the earlier or later start time is at the request of the employee, and agreed to by the Company. (g) By mutual agreement in writing between the Company and its employee, arrangements may be made for the duration of the contract, to bank accumulated overtime. The employee may then request his overtime in time off. However, he must inform the Company as to his request. Upon request by the employee, such time off will be taken as mutually agreed between the Company and the employee. The minimum unit of banked overtime to be utilized is equivalent to eight (8) regular hours. In the event the Company does not agree to the arrangements for banking accumulated overtime, the Union may take the failure to agree directly to the last step (Arbitration) of the Grievance Procedure under Article 11. (i) It is intended that employees will sign up annually for banked overtime. There will be no banking of overtime during the month of December. (ii) Where an employee desires to bank his overtime, he shall request in writing indicating same. When the annual maximum of one hundred (100) hours are accumulated, the time off shall be taken during any open period from May 1 to April 30, excluding the month of December. (iii) The Company will keep a record of all banked overtime which will be available for perusal by the employee. (iv) Overtime which is banked shall be credited in terms of hours, and when taken as time off, shall be paid out at the same hourly rate as banked. When an employee goes on to a higher rated jobleaves the Company, than his normal job, he all banked hours shall be paid out in total. (v) Example of banked hours: 1 hour at the higher rate for the actual 1 ½ times - 1 ½ hours banked 1 hour at double time worked - 2 hours banked (vi) Overtime credits in a banked status on that job. Time would include any preparation work April 1st (or the gathering at termination of materials involved in such jobemployment) shall be paid out as earnings on or before April 30th. (l) Employees who do not notify the Employer as soon as possible that they are unable to be travelling time at work at their designated starting time, will not be guaranteed a maximum of eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are in each twenty-four (24) hours required by Management for that shift. (m) Drivers of vehicles only will be paid for to travel time to and from a Local job site. Other employees will be paid travel time to distant locations at straight time rates of pay. Once at such distant location, travel time to and from the actual job site will then be treated in the same manner as job, plus all transportation, hotel and meal expenses. In addition, a Local job site. (n) A premium bonus of fifty thirty-five cents (50¢35¢) per hour shall be paid to the employee(s) for all straight time hours worked actually spent on the job. If any employee is required to travel on a General Holiday, then such travelling time shall be at double time (2X) rates. (k) Any shift exchanges between 1800 hours and 0600 hoursemployees must be without additional cost or penalty to the Company. Section 2 - Ten (10)

An employee's wage rate shall not be lowered when working in a lower paid job on a temporary basis, where the employee is temporarily assigned by the Employer for the Employer's convenience. (h) All employees working with tools shall be allowed sufficient time during working hours to be at work at their designated starting timereturn tools, will not be guaranteed eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are required by Management for that parts, etc. to the Stores or Crib before the end of each shift. (n) A premium of fifty cents (50¢) per hour shall be paid for all straight time hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.

DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. A. The normal work week shall be forty (a40) Employees shall work eight (8) hours per dayhours, five (5) days per week between 00:01 consecutive days, Monday to 24:00 Friday. All time worked on a Saturday the sixth (6th) day, up to eight (8) hours, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (150%). All hours worked on the seventh (7th) day shall be paid at double time (200%), this applies to work done in addition of the regular rate. (g) When an employee goes on to a higher rated job, than his normal job, he shall be paid at the higher rate for the actual time worked on that job. Time would include any preparation work or the gathering of materials involved in such job. (h) In order that an accurate record of hours worked are kept, the Employer shall use time sheets. Each employee commencing work for the Employer shall be issued a time sheet, and all time shown thereon be paid for. (i) F. In the event that any employee is recalled to work before a period of eight (8) full hours elapsed, he shall be paid at overtime rate of time and one-half (150%) for the entire shift hours that he is called in to work before he has received his full eight (8) hour break. Should the employee work over the regular hours of the applicable shift he shall then receive double time for all straight hours over the regular hours of the applicable shift. No employee shall be permitted to resume work on his own accord until eight (8) full hours have elapsed. N. All employees working with tools shall be allowed sufficient time during working hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hoursto return tools, parts, etc. to the stores or crib before the end of each shift.

Such hours of work shall not be included in the accumulated hours of work for that week. 18.07 Any employee who shall be required to perform special call out assignments after he/she has completed his/her normal daily assignment and has checked out and left the Employer's premises, shall be guaranteed three (g3) When an employee goes on to a higher rated job, than his normal job, he hours of work or the equivalent thereof in pay and shall be paid therefor at one and one-half (1 ½) times the higher regular hourly wage rate applicable to the classification to which he/she is assigned on such work. Such hours of work shall not be included in the accumulated hours of work for the actual time worked on that job. (k) Employees may for what they consider to be paid for all straight time hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hoursa legitimate reason refuse to work overtime, however, if no employees volunteer to work then the Employer may designate the junior employees who can perform the work to do so.

All overtime shall be broken down into ten (10) minute units based on one-sixth (1/6th) of the applicable hourly rate. (j) When employees are advised to report for work at a specified time, they shall be paid from that time, even though there may be no work for them to do. (k) The Company agrees that if it becomes necessary to work overtime, such overtime will be distributed as equally as possible amongst those employees concerned who are qualified to normally perform such work. (lf) Employees who do not notify All employees working with tools shall be allowed sufficient time during working hours to return tools, parts, etc. to the Employer as soon as possible that they are unable to be at work at their designated starting time, will not be guaranteed eight (8) hours' work and will only work those hours that they are required by Management for that Maintenance Building before the end of each shift. (mg) Drivers of vehicles only will be All employees engaged in "dirty" work (i.e. work in which an employee gets dirty to the point where he would require a longer washup period to get clean), such employee shall receive a paid for travel time to and from a Local job site. Other employees will be paid travel time to distant locations at straight time rates of pay. Once at such distant location, travel time to and from the actual job site will then be treated in the same manner as a Local job sitefive (5) minute washup period. (nh) A premium of fifty cents (50¢) per hour If overtime is necessary, all employees, based on their seniority, shall be paid for all straight given the opportunity to work and if no employee(s) volunteers, the least senior employee(s) capable of doing the work shall be required to do the work. (i) The Employer agrees to negotiate shift differentials and rotations with the Union if the Employer chooses to implement any shifts other than the present day shifts.
