Overtime Payment - Shift Workers Clause Samples

The "Overtime Payment - Shift Workers" clause defines how employees who work in shifts are compensated for hours worked beyond their regular schedule. Typically, this clause outlines the rate of pay for overtime hours, such as time-and-a-half or double time, and specifies the conditions under which overtime is triggered, like exceeding a set number of hours per day or week. Its core function is to ensure that shift workers are fairly compensated for additional work, while also providing clear guidelines for employers to manage labor costs and compliance with labor laws.
