Common use of DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME Clause in Contracts

DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. (a) The basic work week shall be thirty-six (36) hours and the work day shall be nine (9) hours, or other shifts as mutually agreed to between the Company and the Union. It is intended that any request for alternate shift arrangements must be submitted in writing to the Union in order to ensure proper documentation and consideration.
