DBS Checks. All Cleaning Technicians are subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to ensure suitability for work in environments such as homes, schools and businesses.

DBS Checks. We have received a number of queries regarding contractors in academies and potential issues that can be caused by this blanket demand from Ofsted. We have received the following advice from DBS. Contractors performing work at the academy refers to building/construction contractors, then the following issues should be taken into consideration:

It is a requirement that any disclosures made on a DBS certificate are considered by the pharmacists employer and any appropriate action taken to ensure a safe and quality assured service is provided.
