Defence Training Clause Samples
Defence Training. Leave with pay may be granted to an employee who is a member of the Defence Reserve to attend a camp of military training annually for up to eighteen days (including Saturdays and Sundays) plus a further four days on certification by the Commanding Officer of the Unit that the additional days are necessary. Leave without pay may be granted for attendance at one school, class or course of military instruction annually, other than an annual camp, for up to sixteen days (including Saturdays and Sundays). If military pay is less than the employee’s salary, the University will make up the difference on application by the employee.
