Definition of Shifts (a) A shift starting on or after 6:00 a.m., but before 9:00 a.m. is a day shift.
Definition of Sole Source As used in this Article 3.2.16, “Sole Source” means a Trade Contractor or Supplier or Subcontractor specified by name in a Bulletin as the exclusive source from which conforming goods or services may be obtained. Definition of Family Members of the employee's immediate family are defined as the employee's spouse, mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, stepchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, stepparents, grandparents and grandchildren.

Definition of Dependent The definition of a dependent shall include the domestic partner of an employee and the dependents of such domestic partner. Any employee claiming a domestic partner and/or the dependents of such domestic partner for purposes of this Article shall have an approved City Affidavit of Domestic Partnership form or a registered State of California Declaration of Domestic Partnership form on file in the Employee Benefits Office, Personnel Department, which identifies that individual as the employee’s domestic partner.
Definition of Overpayments An “Overpayment” means any funds that Xxxxxx receives or retains under any Federal health care program to which Xxxxxx, after applicable reconciliation, is not entitled under such Federal health care program.
