SICK PAY FUND. (1) The Knitting Industry Sick Pay Fund (Northern Areas), (hereinafter referred to as the "Fund"), originally established on 4 June 1971 in terms of Government Notice No. R. 911, is hereby continued. (2) (a) Every employer shall on the pay day of each week and from the first pay day after this part of the Agreement comes into operation, deduct R3,07 from the wages of each of his employees for whom minimum wages as prescribed in this part of the Agreement and who have worked for at least 20 hours in the week for which the deductions fall due.

SICK PAY FUND. 36.1 The Fund known as the ―Hairdressing Trade Sick Pay Fund‖ hereinafter referred to as the ―Fund‖ is hereby continued. 36.2 The object of the Fund is the provision of sick pay benefits to employees and working employers hereinafter referred to as ―members of the Fund‖ to whom this clause applies during periods of absence from work through sickness.   • Sick Pay 23.1 When a seafarer is landed at any port because of sickness or injury, a pro rata payment of their basic wages plus guaranteed or, in the case of officers, fixed overtime, shall continue until they have been repatriated at the Company’s expense as specified in Article 20. 23.2 Thereafter the seafarers shall be entitled to sick pay at the rate equivalent to their basic wage while they remain sick up to a maximum of 130 days. The provision of sick pay following repatriation shall be subject to submission of a valid medical certificate, without undue delay. 23.3 However, in the event of incapacity due to an accident the basic wages shall be paid until the injured seafarer has been cured or until a medical determination is made in accordance with clause 25.2 concerning permanent disability. 23.4 Proof of continued entitlement to sick pay shall be by submission of satisfactory medical reports, endorsed, where necessary, by a Company appointed doctor. If a doctor appointed by or on behalf of the seafarer disagrees with the assessment, a third doctor may be nominated jointly between the Company and the Union and the decision of this doctor shall be final and binding on both parties.

  • Health Spending Account contributions by the Executive will cease on the Effective Date. The Executive may submit claims against the balance accrued to the Effective Date, until the end of the calendar year in which the Effective Date occurs.

  • 401(k) Plan Executive shall be entitled to participate in the Company’s 401K plan in accordance with its terms and conditions.

  • Sick Leave Benefit Plan The Sick Leave Benefit Plan will provide sick leave days and short term disability days for reasons of personal illness, personal injury, including personal medical appointments and personal dental appointments.

  • Medical/Dental Expense Account The Employer agrees to allow insurance eligible employees to participate in a medical and dental expense reimbursement program to cover co- payments, deductibles and other medical and dental expenses or expenses for services not covered by health or dental insurance on a pre-tax basis as permitted by law or regulation, up to the maximum amount of salary reduction contributions allowed per calendar year under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code or other applicable federal law.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation (a) An employee is eligible to accumulate sick leave with full pay at the rate of 16 working hours for each 173 1/3 hours of service. (b) The maximum number of days of sick leave which may be awarded to an employee during any consecutive twenty (20) year period of service shall not exceed 3840 hours.
